Our dedicated team provides 24-hour support, assisting with everyday tasks such as personal care, bathing, dressing, mealtimes, cleaning, and laundry. We work hand-in-hand with district nurses and GPs to ensure all medical needs are met, giving you peace of mind.
We understand the importance of staying connected with family and friends. We actively encourage regular contact, whether in person, by phone, or through letters, and provide private facilities for visits. We also encourage families to continue taking their loved ones on trips and outings, just as they would at home.
At Aegis, your privacy and dignity are paramount. Our care staff are trained and regularly supervised to ensure every resident feels happy, comfortable, and well-cared for. You can also rest assured that Aegis Residential Care Home undergoes annual inspections and is regulated by the CQC.

Please book in advance & arrive promptly.
Breakfast: Flexible, residents can eat when they wake up. Lunch: 12.00pm. Tea: 5.00pm. Supper: 8.00pm – 8.30pm.
Any variation to these times is by arrangement with the registered manager.

This welcoming home spans two floors, offering 11 bedrooms on each level. Residents enjoy a communal lounge, a dining room, and two bathrooms, which include options for assisted bathing and a shower. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms to create a true sense of home.
Outside, you’ll find an open-plan garden at the front and a secure, enclosed garden at the rear, where residents have actively contributed to its lovely appearance. For medical needs, the home is served by a single GP practice, complemented by a care coordinator who provides daily support in person or by phone.
We offer convenient on-site hairdressing and foot care services (charges apply). A dentist and an optician also visit the home regularly.
Two dedicated housekeepers ensure impeccable cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home. Plus, our modern Wi-Fi system makes it easy for residents to stay connected with family and friends.
